For Patients

Resources

  • Surgery Preparation

    Prior to Your Visit:
After your doctor has scheduled a time and date for your procedure, a member of our staff will contact you. During this pre-admission interview you will be given a list of instructions to follow to ensure a safe procedure and recovery. In addition we will kindly ask questions regarding your medical history. Further, we encourage you to ask any questions you may have about your procedure.

    When You Arrive:

    • On the day of your procedure, please arrive one hour prior to your scheduled surgery time.
    • Upon arrival, please sign in. A personable Staff Member will accompany you to the pre-op area.
    • Wear casual, comfortable, clothing.
    • Leave all jewelry, body piercings, and valuables at home.
    • Do not wear nail polish or makeup.
    • Do not come alone. You will need a friend or family member to drive you home after your procedure.
    • Because it is normal to feel dizzy and a little sleepy after surgery, do not drive, sign important papers, or make any significant decisions for 24 hours following your procedure.
